Bonus Expected Value: How to Measure the Real Worth of Casino Offers

A £100 casino bonus sounds like £100 of extra value. In reality, the amount printed on the promotional banner tells you very little about what the offer is actually worth. Before bonus funds become withdrawable, players may need to complete wagering requirements while dealing with game restrictions, bet limits, expiration periods, and normal gambling losses.

To generate $1,000 of wagering credit, actual stakes would theoretically need to reach:

$1,000 ÷ 20% = $5,000
